Description

The abstract provides information about the island of rv1 neityum, which is a large island formed by two extinct volcanoes. It is located at 20 degrees 16 minutes South. The average annual rainfall on the windward side of the island is 2,290 mm, while on the leeward side (NO) it is 1,600 mm. The island covers an area of 160 km2, with its highest peak reaching 852 m. There is also a raised reef from the Pleistocene period found in a small part of the island.
